PROFESSIONAL HANDLING SERVICES
As a kid with a troubled home life, I was in foster care and went to live with Steph Anderson of Raden Rottweilers, in South Sioux City, NE. It was then, with her, that I got involved in the sport of dog showing. With her help and guidance, I began showing "Rumor" in Rally trials and was pretty successful. Pretty soon, I began learning how to show and went into conformation and junior handling. There was where I found my passion and began showing as much as I could. Junior Handling was great fun and I learned how best to present my dog. From there, I began showing for other people, and the rest as they say, is history.
Though I know it's a very difficult road to becoming a professional dog handler, it's one where I feel most comfortable and what I love to do. It's not just about the winning, it's about working with each dog and developing them to be the best they can be. Currently I'm training my own Rottweiler, Ch. Redfield's It's My Tyme, in obedience while he matures for the specials ring. I believe in teaching a dog using positive training methods because if they're going to be a good show dog, even great, they have to enjoy it first.
My clients' dogs are treated as my own. They live in the house with me, they are cared for as if they were at home, on the couch.
Some of my accomplishments include:
Multiple Best Junior wins
Qualifying for Eukanuba in Juniors and making every cut until the finals
Rally titles with class wins and placements
Multiple group placings with several breeds
Multiple breed wins/point wins/major wins
Winning the Rottweiler National in 2008 with BISS/BIS Ch. Gamegard's Chisum
I look forward to helping your dog be the best he or she can be. Please contact me for more information.
